Elias Valencia has worked in local government through the Lehi City Youth Council in his home state of Utah, where he attended city council meetings, debated public policy issues with local representatives, and observed the maintenance of public works. He also volunteers for the Small Claims Advisory Service at Harvard College, where he provides legal information to people in the Boston area who are navigating the small claims court system.
Elias attended Skyridge High School in Lehi, Utah. He was born and raised in Utah, and he grew up exploring the outdoors in national parks across the state. He loves historical trivia and reading books of all genres.
