About

Olamide Adekoya is a rising sophomore at Harvard College interested in history and its interactions with psychology and statistics. She’s deeply interested in using the tools at her disposal to organize and advocate for marginalized communities. As a result, she prioritizes involvement in spaces committed to social justice and public service—from getting involved with the Phillips Brooks House Association at Harvard to leading grassroots movements herself—in hopes of bridging the gap between academic theories and practical applications.

Through the Bloomberg Center for Cities, she hopes to gain hands-on experience in city politics and work to build systems that empower local officials to improve resident needs and expectations. Outside of class, you can find her curled up with a book at her local library or watching a K-drama in her dorm.
