Ravjot Mehek Singh is a Sikh American film producer and art activist. Recognized as one of the first openly LGBTQ+ Sikh women directors in South Asia, her multifaceted career bridges commercial media, social justice, and fine art. Ravjot’s decade-long career producing documentaries for PBS & the Boston Globe, producing in Bollywood, and curating art exhibits is grounded deeply in social justice. Her installation work has been exhibited globally, including at the Guggenheim Museum. In 2024, Ravjot served as an art ambassador for Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign. As an LGBTQ+ art activist, Ravjot is driven by a mission to use fine art and cinema as catalysts for legislative and societal change. Her intersectional activism has earned her features in prominent global publications, including Harper’s Bazaar and Cosmopolitan.
