About
Soojung Lee is a research assistant at the Bloomberg Center for Cities, where she conducts quantitative analyses of longitudinal data to examine changes in city government capacity.
Soojung is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Education in the education policy and program evaluation concentration. Her research focuses on U.S. philanthropic foundations’ grantmaking, particularly the conditions that shape their giving, patterns in funding allocation, and the implications of their funding decisions for equity and access.
Soojung holds a Master of Science in Education in teaching, learning, and leadership from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in English literature and global Korean studies from Sogang University in South Korea. Outside of work, Soojung enjoys photography, traveling, and finding good local coffee shops.
