About

Gene Pozas helps city governments use data and research to make decisions that improve people’s lives. He recently earned a Master of Science in environmental health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and is a Summer Associate with the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative. As a Bloomberg Harvard Summer Fellow, he worked with the city of Rosario, Argentina on its efforts to prevent youth violence, helping turn local data into actions the city could take.

In local government, Gene enjoys connecting research to real policy that helps cities focus their efforts, close health gaps, and reach the communities that need support most. A Cuban-American originally from Miami, he holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida.
