Destiny Jackson’s research explores how social structures and policies shape community well-being, with a particular focus on the role of place-based assets and educational opportunity in driving long-run health outcomes. She leverages this work to generate policy-relevant insights, evaluating the promise of social policies to support community thriving and long-term well-being.
Destiny Jackson is a Ph.D. candidate in population health sciences with a focus on social epidemiology at Harvard University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and global health from Emory University. She is a yoga instructor and stays active through volleyball and running.
